MS 1900 is a Malaysian Standard that defines the requirements for a Shariah-based Quality Management Systems (QMS). These requirements enable organizations to deliver products and services that meet customer requirements and regulatory obligations within the framework of Sharia principles.

It is imperative that planning considers Shariah compliance in all aspects of the organization's operations, including product development, service delivery, and financial transactions.



 



Clause 7 – Product realisation:



Clause 7 addresses the resources required for the maintenance of the quality management system, including human resources, infrastructure, and information. This also means ensuring that all resources are obtained and used in a Halal manner, and that employees are trained on Shariah principles.



 



Clause 8 – Measurement, analysis and improvement:



In the final section of the standard, clause 8 covers the process of monitoring, measuring, analysing, and evaluating the quality management system, along with the methods used to encourage its continual improvement.
